About Dr. Colon

Dr. Colon is proudly a Puerto Rico native and studied at the University of Puerto Rico- Mayaguez Campus from 1981-1982. He then attended Indiana State University- Terre Haute for Pre-Dental studies from 1982-1985 and in 1989 he finished his studies at the Marquette University School of Dentistry as a Doctor of Dental Surgery. He started practicing dentistry in 1989 in Chicago, Illinois, and in 1991, he returned to his home in Puerto Rico to run his own practice. After 19 years in Puerto Rico, Dr. Colon decided to move to Houston and has been at Rayford Dental ever since. Dr. Colon’s professional affiliations include the American Dental Association, Texas Dental Association, and the Greater Houston Dental Society. 

Since 2010 Dr. Colon has called Houston his home, and today he resides in Spring with his wife Maxy, and their family dog Yolo. When he is not working on his patients’ smiles, you can find Dr. Colon enjoying his days playing golf, or traveling with his wife.
